4 Have you handled cases like this before? It is always helpful to have an investigator with experience in the area of your case. You don't want to pay for someone's learning curve.

5 Will you provide me with a contract for your services? A written contract customized for your case will help define the services the investigator will provide, and the costs for such services.

6 Are you a member of any Professional Associations? A "YES" answer to this question generally means someone who is interested in staying current with new investigative techniques, state and Federal law changes, and increasing his/her professionalism.
